Founded in 1973, EU Business School is a private institution, with four campuses, in Geneva, Barcelona, Montreux and Munich.

A highly ranked, professionally-accredited business school, where courses are taught in English, it provides a truly international setting for acquiring a Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA degree.

EU Business School offers a joint degree program with Pace University, New York, and Fisher College, Boston, which enables students to gain two undergraduate degrees in less time than it would take to do them consecutively. In addition, EU Business School partners are situated in Kazakhstan, Russia, the UK, Taiwan, the USA, Asia, Thailand and Malaysia, so you can also choose to do a dual degree. The difference between dual and joint degrees is that dual or double degrees expect students to finish two programmes at two universities, whereas joint degree programmes consist of a single curriculum taught by two collaborating universities.

There is a clear emphasis on developing a global perspective at EU Business School, demonstrated by the inter-campus and international exchange programs which attract so many students.

EU Business School‘s international outlook is also reflected in its student population – which currently numbers around 3000 – of 100 plus nationalities, with students and staff speaking 3.5 languages on average.

The most popular undergraduate courses are:

There are 2000 undergraduates  working towards their Bachelor’s degree at EU Business School (2021), 95 per cent of whom are international students. Courses last for three years and start at various points in the year:

• October
• February
• June
• August

You will gain 180-240 ECTS when you complete your degree.

EU Business School-Does this School offer a Foundation course?

Yes.

EU Business School offers a Business Bridging programme and a language programme to prepare you for starting your degree. When you pass the courses, you are automatically eligible to move on to a Bachelor’s programme.

Courses run for 13 weeks, starting in September, February and June, and develop language proficiency skills and improve academic standards. You can take the Foundation course online, as well as at any EU Business School campus.

You need to score 5.5 in IELTS and 60 in TOEFL to be considered for a place on this course.

EU Business School-Can I do a Master’s at this school?

The EU Business School Master’s courses can be taken full-time, where they run for a year, or part-time, over a two-year period. You can enrol to start in October, January and March.

You will need to have achieved an IELTS score of 6.5 and a TOEFL score of 89 to be considered for a Master’s at EU Business School.

EU Business School-Can I do a MBA at this school?

The EU Business School MBA programme runs for one year, full-time, and two years, part-time. It can also be done online – and the EU Business School online MBA has been ranked 36th in the world by QS (2024). The dynamic course structure includes a range of guest speakers, visits to companies such as Siemens, BMW and UEFA, seminars, lectures, workshops, field trips, case studies, business simulations etc.

You will also have the opportunity to take up internships with leading multinational companies and organisations. Online applications can be made at euruni.edu, and you will be asked to produce evidence of two years’ work experience, to have an interview with the academic dean and to submit (good) GMAT or GRE scores. Class sizes are small and all the campuses have airy, modern learning environments with top of the range, up to date equipment and resources.

EU Business School-Is there online learning at this school?

There are 14 programmes available across all four EU Business School campuses, and online students are also invited to take part in on-campus weeks, to meet their peers and get to know the staff, to attend lectures and visit companies and sit exams.

The December on-campus week takes place in Geneva; the March on-campus week is in Munich and the June campus week is organised in Barcelona.

In addition, there is a 200 euro application fee, and a dissertation or business plan fee of 600 euros, when you have completed the programme.

EU Business School-How do I apply?

Applications are done online and can also be sent by post.

The documents you will be required to submit will include:

• A motivational essay (around 500 words) or 2-3 minute film explaining why you wish to take a specific course – think about your leadership skills, and extracurricular activities.
• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree, plus transcripts, if relevant
• Two academic references
• Passport photographs
• Photocopy of your passport
• Bank certificate or letter confirming that you have the finances to support yourself
• Master’s applicants will also need to send in a CV
• Certificates of language proficiency
